What was it that I knew best or have struggled with the most in
my life? My husband and I have been married for more than ten
years. We chose to be in a multicultural and interfaith relationship.
We both have looked at the cultural and religious differences
and found the common themes and bridged those differences. I found
that I wanted to work with people who have chosen similar paths.
I relate so well to others who have stepped outside of their comfort
zones to create something new and exciting.
Becoming an Interfaith Minister brought all the pieces of my
life's work together. I was thrilled to study all the world's
religions and see the common threads in them all. Learning from
so many wonderful and varied teachers was inspiring.
The December 2000, Ordination from the School
of Sacred Ministries at Pebble Hill Church in Doylestown,
PA was a breathtaking and a sacred moment in my life. From that
event on, I fully took on my mantle as Interfaith Minister. I
have been blessed to have officiated at over 80 weddings, each
of them as unique and different as the people who were in them.
In May of 2004, I stood in front of a room full of family and
friends and TV cameras to officiate at Kelly and Tony’s
wedding on Comcast CN8. The Live Ultimate Wedding was broadcast
to 3 million people and was nominated for a Tony award.
My whole life has been in preparation for this
work. It is amazing to see how it all fits so perfectly. I feel
absolutely blessed to find my place in life and to love what I
do. I feel so thankful each time I connect with someone who chooses
to work with me.
